Shitty GvGers and HAers make the new EvIL bad.

Players are so much better now than they were at Factions release. All of the stuff that was new and innovative back then are now viewed as fundamental basics. They're in the middle of a very rough transition period right now, and it seems like they're still trying to adjust.
If they keep at it, I think they'll eventually figure out a way to dominate, but GvG needs a lot of help right now. There are a lot of issues with the gametype that could potentially drive The Return away.

The Return isn't the same old EVIL they used to be, there probably won't be anything "epic" about them until January, depends how much they pratice/adept. The GvG today is pretty messed up.

hmmm...Old news and the 'play is harder' now is silly.
Everyone had the same skills to work with and they all have the same ( tho some have changed) block of skills to work with now.
They may or may not make it to the top. It will be harder as they have more rl pressures on time ....but... They were the top guild..not bad....the best of the best is a Heckova title!
Wishing them well
Ant

A. It isn't the same roster.
B. If they were smart they wouldn't go anywhere near Guild Wars anymore, particularly GvG.

Even assuming their members who left for the army had finished and come back and decided to play again, the fact that there's no incentive to win will mean they wouldn't care.

Their incentive is that they still like the game and enjoy it as they've already said.

Actually, they said they wouldn't play again because there was nothing to play for when ANet added ATs after having 5 'fun' seasons.

Didn't some of the other top GvG guilds lose interest when ATs came around as well?
